Social Media or Search Engine Optimisation - THE FACE OFF
We are often asked where businesses should spend their online marketing budget - Social Media or Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)? The answer is of course both. Social Media and SEO are both essential for online success there you shouldn't discard one in favour of the other: in fact, Social Media and SEO increasingly work hand-in-hand with each other.
So, rather than battling it out for your budgets, regular New Media Breakfast speakers Gordon White (in the Social Media corner) and Tim Barlow (in the SEO corner)) will take it in turns to share their (or your) very best online marketing tips in an attempt to win the vote. He who gets the most votes wins. He who wins ... well that's still to be decided.
We're not sure how many tips we'll get through but don't worry, we'll prepare lots for you and you'll leave the Breakfast with plenty of things to consider for optimising your Social Media and your Search.
